Artist's Comments

Finaly my Tamron 28-75 came back from service. It's better than new with no more focusing issues. Here are the first shots from it since it's return!

ooooh! Way cool. I know artists don't like to talk about their secrets, but how did you do this?

I'm hardly an artist and I certainly don't mind sharing anything I've learned. :)

I just used a dropper to make small drops of water onto a CD. I set the camera up on my tripod then moved the light source around the CD 'till the colors were apearing where the drops were and I was getting the effect I wanted when looking through the viewfinder. Simple but it gives good results.

haha! HOW EASY. I was thinking all complex. Like, the light refracting off the corner of a class fish tank and you took pictures of the air filters bubbles or something. Dang. =P

:D

I got a few other ideas running around in my head where I'll use this idea. Just gotta stop being lazy about it.
